Streamyx Suck Big Time!!!!

My company line has been having in-regular drop line for the past few weeks. After weeks of testing, we finally called up the "suck service line".

After pressing all the number.. 2 for English, x for Streamyx, etc... follow by 10 minutes waiting period. Thur out the conversation, the customer service insisted that it was our company network issue and nothing to do with TM system. The reason gave was when they tested it is perfectly ok. Test period is 1 minute. OMG!! I tested for weeks and they just test in seconds... As usual, I did my usual move - scolded them like no body business, complained on their test method etc.. insisted on talking to their supervisor (anyone above them)..

Finally, the tech guys came over and did the test and said it was their port issue.. Damn.. If I not insisted, I don't think they will come to check. And excuse my company network. How could they figured out the in-regular disconnect in 1 minute testing.

May God Help Us!! How our country to move into the high tech country as we have the third class internet service.

1. The technician called with the same stupid answer again. It MAYBE your network issue. I bitched him and refused to close the report. Next, the phone calls started flowing in like crazy.. Bitchy do work.

2. Method to be a smart bitch. The tips are:

a. Make sure you record down all the key points during on conversation including name, title, date and time. Also, make sure you get a reference number on the case. Don't close the case until the problem resolve. Even they normal said they need a new reference number to assign job.

b. Don't accept their reason as long as you know they can do better. Insist of talking to their superior as the last resource, you will need to have item a for reference. It will be advantage if you can pickup their mistake during the conversation.

c. If the conversation still no going in the way you like, stop the conversation and make sure you end the conversation in a proper way. Try to carry yourself as a civilize person even with the bad conversation.

d. Try to make another phone call after few hours, this may result you find more helpful person. My experience is this always work. Not everyone in the call center is a bad guy/girl.

e. Ok. This item will make you super bitch. Goto website and google their corp website. Look for their senior management's contact then fill a complaint. If no information found, look for invester relationship office, they are normally very helpful.

I wonder if this is a midlife crisis for lifebook? But, I doubt. If you wish to find out what is bad experience, try call Astro 1800 number. I know streamyx is equally bad. You have to bear with us. Our smart people are working in Singapore, USA, Australia, China and etc. Sigh !

haha..i experienced the same thing last month with streamyx... thank god my line is up, after 2 weeks of calling and waiting...
u should post ur entry earlier.. so that i know what to do.;p

i was online at 2am early this morning and guess what .... streamyx was running at 50kbps
