Today is the Monday and the first day of schooling after 1 week school holiday. The traffic condition will be bad enough for a normal weekday like this. The government decided to close few major roads in town for Independent day rehearsal during the traffic peak hours.
It took me good 1 hour to reach office. This is even I changed my usual route to avoid traffic jam. In the office, most of my colleagues are also complaint about the bad traffic. Most of them were late. :)
I really hope that our government is more considerate for the people here. Each year, we have at least 3-4 times road closer for some sort of rehearsal. Can’t they really move the timing to the less traffic period like after 10am. Each time we the drivers don’t know need to spend how many extra hours in the car. This is actually not environmental friendly and waste of money.
