Connection

Nowadays business is mainly base on connection, as long as, you have the connection. It will help you to secure the business. As I am busy collecting quotation and preparing the summary comparison sheet. My boss already decided to give the business to his friend, who quoted the highest price among all the contractors. His friend is the friend taking advantage of a dump friend like my boss. On top of it, the company provided bad service with a premium price.

My boss commented during the meeting. We are very open.. open my foot.. (Excuse me!!)as he showing the summary quotation sheet to his friend. Damn!! This is not the way of doing business.

Also, he said is my friend’s contractor can be trusted.. damn him!! (Again, excuse for my language!! I am really mad on this comment!) My friend gives me the best price (lowest among the contractor) How dare he say my friend can’t be trusted? Please see your own friends who consider him are dump idiot. If his friend is so called so good, he should quoted us the cheaper price.

Anyway, I just walk out from the meeting room as I really can’t listen anymore on their conversation. Don’t need to respect this kind of people at all.

I have learned the hard & painful way, keep this in mind; that is not your money, not your company and not your office. I show my boss the options and make recommendation. Should the boss decide otherwise, the boss sign off everything. Don't put down your signature on any accountable documents.
