The 1st Chinese New Year Without Mom
This year will be the first year of Chinese New Year without my mom; anyway, life still goes on. We are going to gather and celebrate at the usual place – my elder brother’s house. The New Year without my mom is not going to be same. My family is not looking forward for this New Year. I felt strange and I don't feel like doing anything for the New Year. I have planned to return to town at the 3rd days of Chinese New Year. Partially, my brother is going to be start work on next day. May be we just avoid to stay too long at my hometown.

Gong Xi Gong Xi! I understand how u feel when our loved one is no longer around. It may seem difficult but u guys could take this moment to share abt the good times with mum. She is smiling from heavens & want you all to eat yee sang & be happy!
Be happy always & life goes on. I've lost many loved ones too. I thought tat 1st year could be tough but it wasn't when u still hv other siblings & frens. Happy New Year! - Dave
