The departure of my company’s adviser has created a vacuum in my office and my career. We have been working closely in many projects, so I am sad on his leaving. Anyway, I wish him all the best.
Yesterday, I decided to buy him a dinner at TGI. We have a long talk from office rumors to my career path. Ha ha.. may be it is bit late to this, this should happen earlier as we will able to work in a better manner.
Again, this is a war of office politic and he has decided to keep away from it. I total respected him on handling the situation. Believed me, it is not easy to deal in my office; I have been fighting with it daily. Favoritism is the most difficult politic to deal with.
I think I will miss him, especially on his support.

Have to agree with you on this. Anyway, he got a better offer and less stress job.. :) God bless him.
