Master degree

On early year 2002, my brother and I were discussing about getting the master degree together. Later, he enrolled and started.

Year 2004, my brother already completed his master degree with distinction and I still talking about which master degree I shell take.

Last year, my friend already received his master degree.

This year, I am still planning for mine. :) Not sure I should get a technology or business?

Any good suggestion? I prefer UK or US degree. :)

technology- if you're thinking IT, you'll only have a market in singapore. internet not used enough by Malaysians to support many people in IT. Not sure about technology.

Business...surprisingly I have heard of few people who do well with that. They like to take something else but still go into business, like law. I think it's because business isn't considered as difficult, so don't get to show off your abilities.

Are you considering a master degree of certain subjects or MBA?

They are rather different in term of career progression.

I think you have to look at many different aspects:

1. The Uni.
2. The course
3. The approval & recognition of the Educ Ministry (if it is a problem to you)
4. Your interest and career path
5. US is more practical and UK more academic based
6. etc etc etc
