This morning, my colleague is complaining to me about my assistant “C”. She could not stand his behavior. Ok, I did notice his change of behavior for the past few months. He always late from work, I mean LATE as 20-30 minutes.
She continue said he always late on delivery his work. In another word, he is not effectively. LOL. Now you are talking, we all know that C always took his sweet time to complete his assigned task. Talk with him before; however, he still remains the same.
Then, she told me that C was complaining about me giving him the job which I suppose to do. OMG, this is an interesting. I am wondering myself what have I assigned to him which is belonging to me??? Am I? I don’t think so, mostly, I took over his job because I can’t wait. On another point, he is my assistant; shouldn't him assist me, right?
Anyway, I shell talk to him on Monday. This will avoid me to spoil my Chinese New Year mood.

Fire him. Late, inefficient, against the boss. How can you keep such an employee? Unless there is at least one thing which is good about him, for example, he got good relationship with clients, or he has lots of contacts, or he's very knowledgable but only lazy. Or else, fire him, there are a lot more better ones.
Some ass-istant need to be pushed to perform. ;)
