Yearend Review - Part A

There are 8 more days to go for a new year. This year is an interesting and frustrating year for me.

Career

I left the ex-company which I served for 4 years, even thou the ending was not as good as everyone wanted. There was an extreme bad office politic happen and I decided to quit the job as I was facing lot of pressure from the management. (I was in the middle man between 2 groups).

The stress working environment had leaded me into a depression; anyway, I am out form the shadow and thank god I am still alive. On my last day of work in the company, my immediate supervisor told me why I want to crab many jobs on my hand, I should dedicated to other staff; I was shock and mad, I have been informed them about I was overloaded with projects, but they told me that I was not. So, I told him off by answering him “Great!!! Now, you tell me, why you never consider to give those projects to others when I requested? And you have been telling me I don’t have much work to do. Now, this is your problem and not mine..” What a stupid idiot boss I had!!

Currently, I am happy working in a new company, this job is less stress compares the previous one. I have learned my lesson well from my last company; I draw a very clear line on my job function. This has helped a lot to reduce my workload, no more mister nice guy.

I think I said this to other people before, come to the company I'm working now, lay back and get paid. That's what I do. ;-p
